HOW DOES IT WORK

THE EVENT

I (and any assistance if required) will arrive at the venue 1-2 hours prior to serving the first course; the exact time will depend on the dishes that you have chosen, the time you would like to eat and wether you have opted for table decor.

30 - 45 minutes prior to the first course, canapés will be served (if requested)

Guests will be seated & served their meal at the specified time.

There will be a 15–20-minute interval in between each course.

After serving the final course, everything will be packed away, a full clean down will be carried out, any trash will be taken away, & any leftovers will be boxed up & left for you to enjoy at a later time.

BOOKING

Upon enquiring, you will be sent a booking form with menu options.

Choose from the menu options, or choose to create an entirely bespoke menu.

If choosing from menu options, I will then send a additional preference form where you can state any major dislikes, dietary requirements or allergies, and I will adjust the menu accordingly.

Once the menu is approved and the guest list is confirmed, an initial deposit of 15% will be invoiced, payable within 5 days of booking confirmation.

We ask that the final balance will be paid no later than 14 days prior to the event.

Can you accommodate special dietary needs and restrictions?

Absolutely. I have experience preparing meals for various dietary needs including vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, keto, paleo, and more. Just let me know your requirements when discussing your chosen menu.

Where do you prepare the meals?

Depending on the type of event, I usually prepare most of the meal in my home kitchen and finish it in the client's kitchen. For instance, I handle time-consuming components like sauces in my own kitchen, while I cook proteins and vegetables at the event location to ensure freshness, quality, and punctuality.

GENERAL

How many can you cater for?

Whether you're hosting an intimate gathering or a lavish soirée, I can cater to parties of various sizes. However, from groups of 10 or more, I will bring along a assistant, of which separate charges will apply.

How do you charge for your services?

My services are typically based on the type of menu you choose. The prices depend on the menu chosen - consisting of varying proteins and varying processes.

Are the cost of ingredients included in the price?

Yes, the ingredients are included in the price of the menus, unless you chose the bespoke service option, where an ingredients invoice will be issued after the final menu is chosen.

How far in advance do I need to book your services?

It’s best to book as early as possible to ensure availability. For regular weekly meal prep, a few weeks in advance is ideal. For special events, at least one to two months' notice is recommended. However, if you require a service soon, please contact me and I will let you know my availability.

Do you offer ongoing or daily in-house arrangements?

As well as offering one-time services, I can slo offer ongoing arrangements & daily in-house arrangements of up to 3 weeks. Whether you need a chef for a special occasion or regular meal preparation, I can accommodate your needs.

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept various payment methods including cash, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers. Payment terms will be discussed during the initial consultation.

BOOKING & PRICING

Is there a minimum head count?

While there is no minimum head count, for any parties under 6, a €15 surcharge will be applied per head.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, once the menu is approved & the guest list is confirmed, an initial deposit of 15% will be invoiced, payable within 7 days of booking confirmation.

Where do you source your ingredients?

I prioritize using organic and locally sourced ingredients whenever possible to ensure the highest quality and support local businesses. I base most of my menus on the produce available seasonally, which not only supports economical factors, but also keeps ingredients costs low.

Additionally, I grow produce from home such as vegetables, micro herbs, & edible flowers. I am also a keen forager, and so will use what I can from both the local surroundings & my garden in your menu.

FOOD & INGREDIENTS

Can I request specific ingredients?

Absolutely! Each menu will be tailored to the preferences of you and your guests. Upon enquiry, I will send a detailed preference form & design the menu based on this. However, please do bear in mind that produce here is very seasonal, so some produce may be difficult to get hold of.

Can you provide celebration cakes?

Absolutely! Whether it's a birthday, anniversary, or any special occasion, I can craft bespoke celebration cakes to complement your dining experience or celebration. Let me know your preferences, and I'll create a decadent masterpiece tailored to your tastes. This will require a separate booking form.

Can you provide service?

I can provide service* for any number of guests if required, however, for groups of 10 or more people , I will bring along a kitchen assistant* to help with prep and washing up. For groups of 16 or more people, waiting staff* be provided to serve and clear up.

*All assistance will be an additional charge and invoice separately.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Table Decoration....is this something you provide?

By prior arrangement, we can decorate and setup the dining table. Pricing starts from €25 and includes laying of the table including fresh flowers*, napkins, candles and fairy lights. Otherwise, we ask that the table is laid out by the party themselves.

*If required, fresh flowers will be invoiced separately along with the produce
