MY CULINARY JOURNEY

My career began with a humble start, alongside my mother in her café in Bakewell, UK. There, I honed my skills in menu design and cooking for the café, as well as for the regular supper clubs we hosted. Reflecting on those early days, I realize that my culinary 'passion' emerged gradually, only becoming apparent to me a few years later.

As much as I loved working alongside my mum, my adventurous spirit & itchy feet led me to explore different avenues. I embarked on a ski season, which eventually led me to working in the super yacht industry. After several years of incredible experiences and memories, I felt drawn back to land, where I launched a successful and distinctive handmade chocolate and cake business.

However, fate had other plans for me when I received an opportunity to return to the yachting world, this time as a sous chef working alongside my dear late friend, Johnny. Under his guidance, I delved deep into the intricacies of classic French cuisine. Johnny's influence on my culinary journey is immeasurable, and his memory will forever be cherished.

My tenure as a sous chef on a 60m super yacht for one of China's wealthiest individuals was both demanding and rewarding, serving as a pivotal point in my career. From there, I transitioned to various yachts, predominantly as a freelance head chef for charters. Working in this dynamic industry required me to master a multitude of cuisines and cater to diverse dietary preferences.

Now, a decade later, I find myself here in France. As my partner & I celebrate 1 year of being parents to our beautiful daughter, I feel a renewed sense of purpose and passion. The fire within me burns brighter than ever, as I am eager to recreate the unparalleled 'yacht' dining experience in the comfort of guests' homes and holiday retreats.

I offer personalised culinary experiences tailored to your tastes and dietary needs, using the freshest local ingredients to create unforgettable meals. Whether it's a romantic dinner for two or a family gathering, I bring high-end restaurant-quality cuisine to your table, without the hassle of leaving you home.

RESIDENCIES

I also provide short-term cooking residencies. Whether you require a daily in-house chef, would like my culinary services aboard a yacht, or are hosting events such as retreats, my availability extends for periods of up to 3 weeks, ensuring that I can accommodate various culinary needs and preferences during your stay.

EVENT CATERING

Weddings, corporate gatherings, private celebrations—whatever the occasion, I specialise in catering intimate events for up to 20 guests, crafting unforgettable dining experiences that leave a lasting impression.
